Terms of Service

1 · Who we are and what this is
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website operated by The Cofactor Method ("Cofactor," "we," "us") and your purchase of our services and digital products, including the Goal-Mapping Review, the Cofactor Method 8-Week Program, Cofactor Ongoing continuation coaching, and the Keep-It-Off Library guides. By using this site or purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms. The Cofactor Method is operated by Cofactor Works LLC, 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702.
2 · Not medical advice
The Cofactor Method provides educational, behavioral, nutrition-habit, and accountability coaching services. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment; we are not a healthcare provider; and nothing we provide is a substitute for care from your physician or prescriber. All decisions about medication — including GLP-1 medications, dosing, side effects, and discontinuation — belong to you and your prescriber. If you have or suspect a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
3 · Eligibility
Our services are available to individuals 18 years of age or older. By purchasing, you confirm you are at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement.
4 · Services
Goal-Mapping Review. A one-to-one written review, conducted asynchronously in writing with no call, camera, or appointment, including a written one-page mini-plan, priced at $69. The fee is credited toward the program if you enroll within 90 days, and is waived under our published launch offer for qualifying founding referrals.

The Cofactor Method 8-Week Program. A private coaching engagement including an evaluation of your intake profile, a written personal Follow-Through Plan, the Keep-It-Off Library, weekly asynchronous check-ins with human replies, direct-message support with a one-business-day response commitment, tracking tools, and monthly plan adjustment. Program scope and pricing are individually presented with your Goal-Mapping Review and confirmed at checkout via your payment link.

Continuation ("Cofactor Ongoing"). Month-to-month continuation coaching, cancelable as described at purchase.

Digital guides. Keep-It-Off Library guides are sold through our storefront partner, which acts as merchant of record for those purchases and handles checkout, delivery, receipts, and applicable tax.
5 · How your plan is produced
Client profiles are evaluated using the Cofactor Engine, our AI-assisted evaluation methodology. Every plan is reviewed and finalized by the Cofactor team before delivery. AI tooling assists our work; humans review and finalize it.
6 · Payments
Consult and program payments are processed by Stripe via payment links; we do not store your card details. Digital guide purchases are processed by our storefront partner as merchant of record. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Program pricing is scoped individually and stated to you before payment.
7 · Refunds and guarantees
Our refund commitments — the Review guarantee, the first-week fit promise, and the response commitment — are described in full in our Refunds & Guarantees policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. We do not guarantee any health, weight, or body-composition outcome, and no statement on this site or in our materials should be read as an outcome guarantee.
8 · Purchase credits
Amounts paid for guides, kits, and the Goal-Mapping Review are credited toward program enrollment if you join within 90 days of the qualifying purchase. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and apply once.
9 · Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information at intake and in check-ins, to consult your prescriber on all medication-related matters, and to use the services for personal, non-commercial purposes. Coaching depends on honest input; we cannot account for information we were not given.
10 · Intellectual property
All site content, guides, plans, trackers, and materials are owned by The Cofactor Method and licensed to you for personal use only. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute them.
11 · Affiliate disclosure
Where we recommend third-party products in advisory materials, links may be affiliate links from which we earn a commission, always disclosed where they appear. Recommendations are made on merit; we do not accept payment for placement on our sales pages.
12 · Testimonials and results
Any testimonials we publish are from real clients, used with permission, and reflect individual experiences. Results vary and no result is typical of, promised to, or guaranteed for any person.
13 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the services is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14 · Termination
We may decline or discontinue service where coaching is not an appropriate fit (for example, where a request requires medical care), with a pro-rata refund of any unused prepaid period.
15 · Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date will change and material changes will be communicated to active clients. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
16 · Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: legal@cofactormethod.com.
